New Streaming Server

Hello to everyone still out there!

TSRN has experienced an extended period of inactivity, but things may be looking up soon. As part of the refresh, the TSRN streaming server has been replaced!

Previously, TSRN operated on a ShoutCast server, which only supported a single stream at a time. Normally, this isn't a huge deal. However, The Management made an executive decision while developing some plugins, and TSRN now operates on an Icecast2 streaming server, which supports multiple streams from the same port.

What does this mean for you, the listeners? Well... nothing, really. The stream now has an extra little bit on the end; ie, you have to use http://rbx.topsecretradio.net:8888/tsrn for the stream, but otherwise there's no difference to the end user. In the future, we'll probably start a transcoding service to provide the same broadcast at different bitrates, so we can accommodate even our friends who are still stuck in Modem Hell, but for now, we'll stick with the tried-and-true methods.
